TransSearch FAQ User's Manual
Registration and Subscription | Subscription administratorTo register for a group subscription, you first need to identify someone who will act as the subscription administrator. It will be this person's job to register the group on the Group registration page. The administrator will then be responsible for purchasing a subscription and for renewing the subscription. When registering the group, the administrator must provide us with certain information that is essential for our records: his or her name and email address as well as the name, address and telephone number of the group itself (be it a company or otherwise.) Under no circumstances will this information be revealed to anyone without your explicit consent (see the section on Confidentiality). You will also be asked on this page to provide us with a group name. The subscription administrator will distribute this name to all the members in the group, since they will need it when they complete their individual registrations. The administrator will also have to select a password. Together with the group name, this password will allow the administrator to carry out various administrative tasks, such as purchasing a subscription or renewing a subscription, adding new members to the group. The group name and the password do not in themselves provide access to TransSearch. They are used only to carry out the above-mentioned administrative tasks. If the subscription administrator wishes to use TransSearch, he or she too must register as a member of the group of which he/she is the administrator. Once the group has been registered, the administrator must purchase a subscription for the appropriate number of members, by accessing the Purchasing a subscription page. When subscribing, it is also possible to add new members so that you benefit from the discount rates that apply to the final size of the group. |
